Adopted Rate




Prior to adopting a tax-rate, taxing units must:
  • Publish the no new revenue, voter approved, and adopted tax-rates in an ad in a local newspaper and on their website.
  • Notify the taxpayers of public hearings to discuss their budget and adopt a tax-rate. 
  • Post hearing times and publish the new revenue, voter approved, and adopted tax-rates on a Truth in Taxation website in August of each year.
